Private gift consulting

Where designer meets sentiment and good taste

You know the gift should be extraordinary. You do not have forty hours to find it. I do that part — quietly, personally, and with an eye trained on the details most people miss.

Chanel · Dior · Yves Saint Laurent · Gucci · Louis Vuitton · Louboutin — and the small houses you have not heard of yet.

Why this exists

The gift is never really about the gift

It is about being seen. A gift that lands says I paid attention. A gift that misses says the opposite, loudly, and it is remembered.

I know how frustrating it is to tell someone exactly what you want and watch them miss the mark. And for the rest of us — we genuinely want to give something beautiful, but it is time-consuming, and the good things are never on the first page of results.

Elite Eye takes the searching off your plate. I find the pieces you would not otherwise find, and I present them so the moment of opening is as considered as the object itself.

How it works

Four steps, and only one of them is yours

One

The call

Twenty minutes, complimentary. We talk about the recipient, the occasion, the relationship, and the budget you are working within.

Two

The search

I source privately — limited editions, exclusive releases, and pieces that are not sitting in a search result. This is the part that would have cost you your weekend.

Three

The proposal

A curated set of options within your budget, with the reasoning behind each. You choose. Nothing is purchased until you do.

Four

The presentation

Acquisition, authentication, styling, and packaging. Delivered discreetly, or handed to you ready to give.

Folds of sheer ivory silk

The right gift is not the expensive one. It is the one that could only have been meant for them.

About

The eye behind it

This service is designed to make it easier to gift tasteful and beautiful items. Hand-picked by me, these are pieces I search the ends of the internet for — and would readily give to myself or to my own family.

I came to this from the other arts. I write, I paint, and I DJ, and they are all the same job in different clothes: read the room, then hand it the thing it did not know it wanted. A degree taught me how to research something properly and not stop at the first plausible answer. The decks taught me timing — that the right thing at the wrong moment is just noise.

Elite Eye is deliberately small. I take a limited number of engagements so that every one of them gets an actual eye on it — mine.

Questions

Before you book

What does the consultation cost?

The introductory call is complimentary. If we move forward, engagements are quoted based on scope; bespoke work generally begins at $800 plus the cost of the pieces themselves.

Do you work outside Dallas?

Yes. Most clients are in Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, and the surrounding area, but sourcing and delivery are not geographically limited.

How do you handle authenticity?

Every designer item is either sourced through an authorized channel or put through an authentication process before it reaches you. This is non-negotiable.

How far ahead should I book?

For the holidays, by early autumn — the best pieces are limited and they go. For an individual occasion, two to three weeks is comfortable. Shorter timelines are sometimes possible; ask.

Can you work within a set budget?

Yes, and I prefer to. Tell me the number on the first call and every option you see will respect it.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. The presentation inside is styled to be photographed; the shipping packaging outside gives nothing away.

Give something they could not have found themselves

A short call is the whole commitment. Tell me who it is for and I will tell you what is possible.
